Glodon officially launched QuantifAI, its next-generation AI-powered quantity takeoff solution, to the Malaysian market at Glodon AEC Connect Day 2026, held at the KLGCC Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 14 August 2026 – Glodon officially launched QuantifAI, its next-generation AI-powered quantity takeoff solution, to the Malaysian market at Glodon AEC Connect Day 2026, held at the KLGCC Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Under the theme “Double Intelligence with AI × 5D BIM,” the event brought together nearly 1,000 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, developers, consultants, contractors, academia and the wider construction community to discuss how AI and BIM are reshaping Malaysia’s Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector.

As the key highlight of the event, the launch of QuantifAI marked an important milestone in Glodon’s journey in Malaysia to bring AI into practical construction workflows and empower quantity surveying and construction professionals with more intelligent and efficient ways of working.

The event also marked the release of the English version of Glodon’s BIM 2.0 White Paper, further extending the discussion on AI and BIM. The white paper explores how BIM is moving beyond modeling to turn project data into smarter decisions, more integrated workflows and greater project value.

QuantifAI: Bringing AI into Practical Quantity Takeoff

As construction projects become increasingly complex, quantity surveyors, estimators, consultants and contractors are expected to process greater volumes of information while working within tighter timelines and increasing demands for productivity, accuracy and cost certainty.

Against this backdrop, Glodon introduced QuantifAI to the Malaysian market as its next-generation AI-powered quantity takeoff solution, designed to address practical challenges faced by construction professionals in their daily work.

Built around the principles of “Simpler, Speedier and Sharper,” QuantifAI brings AI into the quantity takeoff process to simplify workflows, reduce repetitive work and enable professionals to work more efficiently.

As a 2-in-1 quantity takeoff solution integrating structural and architectural workflows, QuantifAI represents Glodon’s latest step in combining AI with its long-standing expertise in BIM and digital construction.

At the heart of QuantifAI is a clear philosophy: AI must solve real industry problems and create practical value. By simplifying repetitive and data-intensive processes, AI can enable quantity surveyors and construction professionals to focus more on analysis, professional judgement and higher-value decision-making.

Rather than replacing professional expertise, Glodon believes AI has the potential to augment and empower it.

Industry Perspectives on AI × BIM

Supporting the QuantifAI launch, AEC Connect Day 2026 featured a panel discussion themed “Reimagining Quantity Takeoff: From Traditional BIM to AI-Powered 5D.” The discussion highlighted how AI, BIM and project data can help simplify processes, improve productivity and support more intelligent decision-making, while empowering construction professionals to focus on higher-value work.

During the event, Glodon also released the English version of its BIM 2.0 White Paper, Evolving into BIM 2.0: A New Stage for BIM Application and Development. The white paper explores how BIM is evolving beyond modeling applications towards data-driven value creation, marking a shift from building modeling to information management.

BIM 2.0 is not only about creating more detailed models, but about turning project information into connected, trusted and reusable data that supports better decisions, higher-quality design, optimized construction and lifecycle value creation.

A Decade of Partnership and Trust in Malaysia

Since establishing its presence in Malaysia in 2015, Glodon’s journey has been shaped by innovation, partnership and trust.

This spirit was celebrated at the Glodon Legacy Alliance Recognition Ceremony, where 31 long-term benchmark partners were recognised for their continued trust, collaboration and shared commitment to advancing digital construction in Malaysia.

The recognition reflects Glodon’s commitment to growing together with its partners and creating long-term value for Malaysia’s construction industry.

Strengthening Malaysia’s Digital Construction Ecosystem

AEC Connect Day 2026 also reflected the growing momentum of Malaysia’s digital construction ecosystem.

The event welcomed participation and engagement from across the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Works Malaysia (KKR), Ministry of Finance (MoF), Public Works Department Malaysia (JKR Malaysia), JKR Sarawak, CIDB Malaysia, CIDB Digital Sdn. Bhd., Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM), Chartered Institute of Building Malaysia (CIOB Malaysia), Malaysia BIM Association, Bumiputera Contractors Association of Malaysia, and China Council Promotion of International Trade, alongside leading industry and academic partners.

The programme also featured an official MoU and MoA signing ceremony, further strengthening Glodon’s collaboration with academia.

Strategic collaborations with Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) and Taylor’s University reflect a shared commitment to connecting technology, education and industry, while supporting knowledge exchange, digital capability development and the cultivation of future-ready talent for Malaysia’s AEC sector.

These collaborations reinforce Glodon’s belief that meaningful digital transformation requires an ecosystem approach — bringing together government, industry, academia, technology providers and construction professionals.

Looking ahead, Glodon will continue working with partners across this ecosystem to advance digital and intelligent construction in Malaysia and create greater value for the AEC industry.
