This month’s Designer Desktop is shaping up to be a good one because Bristol-based Clare Owen is lending us a hand with a fun pattern! The illustrator is inspired by iconic greats, like Alexander Girard, the Eames’, and Beyoncé, as well as ephemera from her travels, the Bauhaus movement, and French flea markets. Her work has been featured in packaging, books, and magazines, including Real Simple, Oprah, and Elle, and more.
Her playful pattern, available below to grace your phones and laptops, is made up of different shapes artfully arranged. The design captures the organic textures made from the flow of the marker ink, giving the pattern a human touch.
