The blankets are woven in a luxurious heavyweight jacquard, boasting a generous size of 51.2 inches x 78.7 inches. The plush, beautifully patterned cloth promotes a calming feeling of warmth and comfort. The wool is certified by Woolmark, OEKO-TEX, and Wool Integrity NZ. The Blooming Seadragon Blanket is a rippling, almost hexagonally dotted print that emulates the delicate limbs and coloration of the Seadragon as it expertly camouflages among seaweed blooms. This pattern comes in two colors, Denim and Sage, and is also reversible.
The Woodblock Beetle Blanket is an ode to the motifs made by the woodblock beetle as it makes its way across trunk and bough. Abstracted from the profile of the beetle, its distinctive body shape and razor-sharp legs can be found throughout the blanket’s patterning. It comes in two inviting colors, Rust Cream and Plum Cream.
The next pattern is named the Umbrella Squid Blanket, again after another marvel from nature. The Umbrella Squid is characterized by bioluminescent ‘jeweled’ skin, which is able to change color to match its surroundings. A fascinating creature, its ability to morph in this way is reflected in the alternating circles found gracing the blanket’s surface. The Techno Bee Blanket is inspired by the swirling interactions of bees and their hums. The undulating, organic forms are magnified multiple times to create calming yet familiar interactions. Last but certainly not least, the Blushing Sloth Blanket is an ode to the creature of its name. This sloth moves incredibly slow, such that algae blooms on its fur. The undulating patterns of this algae are reflected in the blanket, and the other side is reversed thanks to jacquard weaving construction. The Blushing Sloth Blanket is available in two colors – Olive Cream, and Pink Rust.
