Architect Quentin Desfarges completed a timber mountain cabin in Norway featuring porthole-style windows and overlooking Hardangervidda National Park.
The home received praise from readers, with one describing it as “drop-dead gorgeous”. Another agreed, saying, “this may be my favourite architectural project shared by Dezeen this year”.
