Gessi’s Milan design week experience welcomed guests “into a parallel dimension”

Promotion: Italian bathroom and kitchen brand Gessi transformed Casa Gessi Milano into a sensory experience spotlighting its latest collections as part of Milan design week.

Named Beyond the Extraordinary, the installation highlighted the brand’s dedication to material research and presented an immersive experience that aimed to push “the boundaries of design”.

The experience covered 2,000 square meters and showcased a range of Gessi’s bathroom and kitchen collections in a bid to tell the brand’s story and show its values.

The experience aimed to spotlight Gessi’s values

“It expands and evolves into a portal toward new sensorial worlds, offering an immersive journey marked by experimentation and hospitality,” said Gessi of its Milan design week experience.

“Every corner of Casa Gessi Milano tells the story of a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic, where hospitality becomes an art and design an invitation to explore new sensorial dimensions.”

Gessi also showcased elements of its Haute Culture collection

The showcase demonstrated how Gessi has experimented with materials such as titanium within its collections, which aim to “blend sculpture with technology”.

It presented the brand’s recently launched collection named Titanio, which includes distinctive bathroom hardware. The taps are designed to stand the test of time, as titanium is naturally resistant to corrosion and wear.

A number of the brand’s kitchen accessories were on display as part of the design week

Throughout Casa Gessi Milano, the brand also presented other products, including its kitchen faucets, accessories, and wellness systems, such as the kitchen system Vita Gessi, which provides still and sparkling water, and Vita Gessi Caffè, its coffee system.

Gessi also showcased Gessi Colonna – a sculptural collection of bathroom fixtures designed in collaboration with architect David Rockwell. The collection is an ode to architecture and is made from travertine and crystal-glass.

Also on display were products from its Haute Culture collection, which is designed to “dress its environment”.

On display was Jacqueline – a faucet made from bamboo, which is described as an “exclusive jewel for the bathroom” and Perle, a faucet with a pearl-like sphere attached to its top.

“The Haute Culture Gessi approach translates Italian know-how into a new cultural approach that passes on to the future the high capabilities that might otherwise be lost: from the timeless craftsmanship of Murano glass to the manual processing of marble, semi-precious stones, to the metals typical of the manufacturing industry,” said the brand of its Haute Culture collection.

Also offered as part of the experience was Gessi Boutique: Tailored Consulting – a space for architects, designers and planners to ask questions and speak to the brand’s experts about its collections.
