Dezeen Awards has received two accolades at the Awards Awards 2025, including being named event of the year.
The 2024 edition of Dezeen Awards was named Awards Event of the Year at the ceremony in London last week.
The judges were impressed with the overall standard of the Dezeen Awards 2024 programme, praising it for its scale and high levels of engagement.
“[Dezeen Awards is] a really well put together event that far exceeded targets,” said the judges. “The design standards are totally in keeping with the Dezeen brand.”

Dezeen Awards 2024, which recognised the best in global architecture, design and interiors, named 52 winners from more than 4,000 entries from 82 countries.
The programme was also awarded silver in the Best Development of an Existing Awards Event category, with the judges complimenting Dezeen Awards’ social media strategy and the quality of the winners party.
Held at Hackney Church in London, the event, which was designed by Hingston Studio and featured immersive projection mapping from We Are Seventeen based on a graphic campaign by Micha Weidmann Studio, welcomed over 600 architects and designers from 35 different countries to celebrate the winners.
“Bold, inclusive, design-led excellence with outstanding growth, creativity, and sustainability,” said the judges. “Impressive results, particularly on the social media impressions – and the growth in target audience was also very high.”
“Great choice of venue too – congratulations to all those involved!” they continued.
The wins follow success earlier this year, when Dezeen’s design and environment editor Jennifer Hahn was named Young Arts Journalist of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Journalists’ inaugural Young Journalist Awards.
Dezeen Awards has also been shortlisted for a prestigious Professional Publishers Association (PPA) awards in the Event of the Year category, while editor Tom Ravenscroft is a finalist in the Editor of the Year category.
