Welcome to the era of no surprises, people! We have a CAD render of the upcoming Apple Watch Pro from the folks over at 91mobiles, who have the exclusive from “industry sources”, let’s take a look!
Literally two days before the announcement event this friggin’ watch and we have a CAD file leak, can you believe that? Crazy. We can learn a lot from these renders, even if the watch itself looks a bit… weird:
Looking at the render head on you can see the larger face with a flattened design on a weird looking, pear-shaped body that has a sort of growth coming out from the side. Also noticeable is what looks to be another button, opposite the Digital Crown and multi-tasking button:
Rumors are circulating that the new button could be a programmable shortcut feature, but we won’t know until the announcement. For the flip side, we get a better look at that growth which has the Digital Crown and multi-tasking button on it:
I’m not entirely sure about the reasoning behind the tumor, could be to do with durability or space-savings inside the casing itself, who knows. We also have confirmation from the mark-iest gurm, Mark Gurman, that this is indeed the Apple Watch Pro:
So far we’re all expecting Apple Watch Pro to be a high-end wearable focused on durability, with a more fleshed out low-power mode and the largest display yet on Apple Watch measuring in at 49mm. Pricing is still a mystery but speculation says upwards of $1,000, so we’ll see!
Apple’s event is on Wednesday people, Wednesday. Let’s see if we can just get the entire event leaked!
