Dezeen Events Guide has launched a guide to the 2025 edition of Dubai Design Week, highlighting the key events taking place from 4 to 9 November 2025.
The digital guide spotlights the event’s key exhibitions, installations, awards, conferences and talks, workshops, trade shows, art and design fairs, markets and pop-ups.
Each year, the Abwab exhibition displays a winning pavilion
Among the events this year is a lounge installation informed by Art Deco speakeasies by surfaces company Cosentino and design firm Etereo, and the Abwab exhibition showcasing “textiles, narrative and the architecture of ornaments”.
Most of the design week’s events are located in Dubai Design District (d3), home to brands such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Lego and Lasvit.
The Forum takes place during Downtown Design
Downtown Design, the festival’s design fair, is among the programme highlights, exhibiting furniture, lighting and textile brands while also presenting the Forum conference and Editions showcase.
Flooring brand Nordic Homeworx has collaborated with design studio Styled Habitat to present a stand at Downtown Design, titled Nordic Cabin, as well as jewellery brand Buccellati and Beirut-based studio David/Nicolas, who are exhibiting Buccellati’s Tahiti, Marina and Nature collections.
Nikken Sekkei has created the Chatai pavilion for Dubai Design Week
Also taking place at the festival is Chatai by Nikken Sekkei, displaying a wooden pavilion informed by Japanese culture, and Urban Commissions, spotlighting the winning project from the courtyard-focused competition.
The line-up of events seeks to celebrate regional and global talent, inviting visitors to enjoy six days of art, design and architecture.
