Emma Hayes creates mural-style acoustic panels for Autex Acoustics

  • by

Designer Emma Hayes has teamed up with Autex Acoustics to create a collection of acoustic panels informed by New Zealand landscapes, shown in this video created for the brand by Dezeen.

Hayes designed a range of eight textiles with soft wash-like motifs that bring a painterly quality to interior surfaces.

Each pattern was developed using Hayes’s analog methods for her designs, which combine painting, drawing and mark making.

According to Autex Acoustics, the Emma Hayes collection is certified carbon-neutral, reflecting the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

The panels are made from 75 per cent recycled content and are designed to be durable.

Hayes and Autex Acoustics showcased the collection at the company’s recently refurbished showroom located in Clerkenwell, London.

The showroom was designed in collaboration with design studio Unispace.
