Flooring brand Forbo is showcasing its colour palette for its Furniture Linoleum surface material at an exhibition at Salone del Mobile during Milan design week, as seen in this video produced by Dezeen for the brand.
Called RoCollectible 2025, the exhibition takes place at Galleria Rosanna Orlandi and features eight new colours designed to offer a contemporary finish for a range of furniture.
Forbo’s installation features new linoleum colours
As part of the exhibition, Forbo displayed various design objects created with the Furniture Linoleum colours, including a table by German furniture brand Faust Linoleum.
Also on display are stools designed by Stefan Scholten, which use the same colours from a previous collaboration between Forbo and Studio Stefan Scholten.

The installation at Salone del Mobile includes stacked boxes featuring the Furniture Linoleum colours, housing the different design objects inside of them.
Forbo’s Furniture Linoleum surfacing material is made primarily from raw, natural materials such as linseed oil, wood flour and pine rosin and can be applied across kitchen cabinetry, doors, wall panels and other furnishings.

According to the brand, Furniture Linoleum is climate-positive and is manufactured with one hundred per cent green electricity.
The brand claims that the material is “cradle to gate”, meaning that the product’s life cycle and environmental impact are assessed from raw material extraction through to leaving the factory gate.
The material is described by Forbo as having both antibacterial and antistatic properties and can be cleaned with only water.
The full Furniture Linoleum colour range includes 24 contemporary shades that are described as having a matte finish.
