Indian architect Rastogi is the co-founder of Morphogenesis
Indian architect Rastogi, who co-founded architecture and urban design practice Morphogenesis, will join Simon Allford on this year’s judging panel.
The studio, which has offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi, aims to create new narratives for contemporary Indian architecture. The studio recently unveiled the Surat Diamond Bourse in India, which surpassed the Pentagon as the largest office building in the world.
Sonali’s contributions to architecture have earned her over 200 international awards. She was also named one of Dezeen’s 50 most powerful women in architecture and design.
Vietnamese architect Nghia specialises in bamboo and sustainable architecture
Joining Rastogi on the architecture jury is Nghia, a Vietnamese architect and founder of VTN Architects, a studio specialising in bamboo and sustainable architecture.
Projects completed by the studio include a welcome centre made from 42,000 bamboo pieces for Grand World Phu Quoc, a bamboo dome for a lakeside restaurant in Ninh Binh Province and a beach hut resort with thatched bamboo roofs on a small remote island of Vietnam’s north coast.
Nghia’s work is recognised internationally and has received over 150 international awards. He has lectured at a number of academic institutions such as Harvard, Columbia and Cambridge.

Danish designer Mardahl is best known for her distinctive approach to glassware and will sit alongside Giorgia Lupi on the design judging panel.
After graduating from London’s Central Saint Martins, Mardahl later founded her eponymous studio, where she honed her signature hand-blown glass designs. Her colourful, organically shaped designs embrace the unpredictability of working with glass.
Recent projects include opening her Copenhagen flagship store adorned with candy-coloured glassware and an installation during 3 Days of Design.

Recent projects by Laposse include a marquetry material developed from colourful heirloom corn species and an exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, exploring the impact of avocado overconsumption.
