The 2025 Minimalist Photography Awards celebrated the power of simplicity, drawing over 2,600 entries from more than 50 countries that transformed everyday scenes into striking visual narratives.

Alexandros Othonos earned the title of Minimalist Photographer of the Year for his poignant series “Threads of Memory,” which reimagines vintage family photos stitched with symbolic threads linking generations. The winning images span serene landscapes and bold architecture, using shadows, negative space, and isolation to highlight the elegance of minimal design. These photographs invite reflection, proving that clarity and restraint can evoke deep emotion and lasting impact.
