— The Er’eshan section of the Tianfu Renshou Avenue, constructed by China Railway No. 23 Bureau Group, has been officially completed and opened to traffic. The project starts south of the Sanrao Heilongtan Interchange in Qingshui Town, connecting with the Qingshui-to-Sanrao section of the avenue. It traverses Dechan Temple via the Dechan Tunnel, passes through the township north of the original Fujun Township, and seamlessly connects with the ongoing Dahua-to-Urban section of the Tianfu Renshou Avenue, spanning a total length of approximately 13 kilometers.
Reportedly, this project serves as the southern extension of the world’s longest urban central axis and is a key priority project for Meishan City. The official operation of the Tianfu Renshou Avenue significantly reduces the travel time and distance between Renshou County and Chengdu, accelerating Renshou’s integration into the Chengdu economic circle, which holds profound significance for public livelihood.
Following the opening of the avenue, the Renshou Project Team—the contractor responsible for the mechanical and electrical (M&E) works as well as traffic safety facilities—rapidly transitioned their role from builders to guardians. Fully assuming the daily operation and maintenance (O&M) responsibilities for the avenue’s M&E systems and traffic safety facilities, the team is dedicated to protecting the safe, stable, and orderly operation of this vital public artery through professional, efficient, and attentive services.
As a major regional transportation artery, the Tianfu Renshou Avenue experiences heavy traffic flow and attracts high social attention, placing significant responsibility on O&M work. Adhering to the principle of “Safety First, Prevention Foremost, and Precision Maintenance,” the project team has established a mechanism combining 24-hour duty shifts with routine patrols. They conduct comprehensive inspections and meticulous maintenance on monitoring systems, lighting facilities, traffic signals, communication equipment, signage, markings, and protective facilities along the route. By intensifying inspections on key sections and critical equipment, the team promptly identifies hazards and rapidly addresses malfunctions, ensuring all facilities remain in optimal working condition.
Transitioning from building roads with craftsmanship to protecting roads with dedication, the responsibilities may change, but the commitment of a central state-owned enterprise remains constant. Moving forward, the Renshou Project O&M team will continue to stand firm at their posts and fulfill their duties. With higher standards and more practical measures, they will ensure long-term O&M support, safeguarding the safety and smooth flow of the Tianfu Renshou Avenue, and continuously contributing “China Railway” strength to local transportation and regional economic development.
