The Daily Heller: This Election is Not Yet in the Bag

But it is often in the gutter. Campaign garbage in the form of recyclable, hateful, divisive and derisive language has long been a nasty part of American political discourse, but to borrow from the hyperbole of candidate Trump, never before in history has there been so much spewed than at his recent beautiful Madison Square Garden “roil the base” rally.

Fittingly, in the rally’s aftermath and just in time for Halloween, I received the deck below from an anonymous source to mark the end of this bilious campaign. With luck, next week the nation will take out the trash.

If this does happen, I promise to tolerate the late-night clanging, banging, whirring NYC garbage trucks that commence at midnight and continue every hour on the hour. I won’t call 311 ever again, and promise not to raise a stink if the stink is finally gone.
