This Japanese Artist Carves Playful Narratives Into Tree Leaves

  • by

Japanese artist Lito, diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), uses his hyper-focus to create intricate kirie (cut paper) art from fallen leaves.

He works quickly due to the delicate nature of the leaves and incorporates playful narratives, often inspired by films or his own imagination. His work will be on display at Daimaru department store in Kobe, and he shares his art on social media.
