Promotion: French furniture brand Tiptoe has celebrated its 10th anniversary by asking 10 designers and artists to creatively reinterpret its first product – the clamp-on table leg.
Big-Game, Constance Guisset, Julien Renault and Jean-Michel Wilmotte are among the industry names to have contributed one-off pieces to Tiptoe’s birthday collection, which was displayed at the exhibition 10 Years – 10 Visions during Paris Design Week.
The group’s contributions include impossibly slender minimalist tables, dystopian abstract sculptures and a furniture leg with literal toes. The items are available to purchase here.
Tiptoe is giving all proceeds from the sale of these collectable designs to Toit à Moi, a charity that helps people experiencing homelessness and that the brand has been working with for many years.

All of the pieces began with Tiptoe‘s table leg – a simple powder-coated steel clamp that turns virtually any flat surface into an elegant, industrial-edged table.
The brand has sold over 400,000 table legs worldwide since launching the product in 2015.
Tiptoe co-founders Vincent Quesada and Matthieu Bourgeaux explained that they had wanted the 10th anniversary project to reflect on their beginnings. At the same time, they wanted to celebrate other creatives and bring their diverse practices into dialogue.

“It was important for us to mark Tiptoe’s 10-year anniversary by returning to our founding object and entrusting it to the eyes of others,” said Tiptoe co-founders Vincent Quesada and Matthieu Bourgeaux.
“This project is a way to celebrate what has driven us from the very beginning: the desire to create, to share and to do things with meaning.”
Constance Guisset’s design features bring playful curves to the usually linear design
Among the designs are several tables, including a poetic contribution from Guisset that sees the leg’s usually straight lines softened by what appears to be a cascade of rolling gold discs, and a minimalist brushed stainless steel contribution from Big-Game.
The studio Kann Design channelled the same material and feel in a shelf with an embedded rack for vinyl records, while designer Sophie Dries created a dialogue between craft and modularity with her table, where clusters of Corten steel legs are finely joined to an oak wood tabletop.

A couple of participating creatives have focused on the leg only, making minimal but striking interventions. Renault’s is functional – a contour providing a discreet hook for hanging objects – while illustrator Olimpia Zignoli’s is whimsical, introducing a foot with five toes and the title Tiptoes.
Others have left the table entirely. Wilmotte inverted and thinned the legs to make a clamped bookend or shelf divider with timeless style, while the artist Jean-Baptiste Durand created one of his signature sculptures, blending remnants of technology and ceramics to make a piece that evokes the archaeological digs of the future.

Designer and restaurateur Rudy Guénaire contributed a piece inspired by American modernism, while designer and craftswoman Wendy Andreu put a new perspective on the table leg through inversion.
The one-off pieces were displayed at Ellia Gallery in the Marais district from 3 to 6 September, during Paris Design Week 2025.
The exhibition began with a lively opening night, which brought together the creatives of 10 Years – 10 Visions along with Tiptoe’s collaborators in the spirit of connection and community.

Alongside the birthday pieces, the exhibition featured a retrospective of Tiptoe’s work, new collections, a lounge and a pop-up shop.
In its 10-year history, Tiptoe has become known for its innovative concepts, modern timelessness and softened bright colours.
