U Mobile is delighted to announce Bangi, Putrajaya and PJ New Town have gone live with its ULTRA5G experience
These three outdoor clusters will now have U Mobile’s ULTRA5G coverage throughout the entirety of the townships, highlighting another leap in the company’s deployment roadmap
The company is ahead of its deployment schedule apart from the three new outdoor clusters, its ULTRA5G experience is now also available indoors in 30 buildings, with more going live in the coming months
U Mobile, Malaysia’s newest 5G network provider, is delighted to announce that their ULTRA5G experience is now live in Bangi, Putrajaya, and Petaling Jaya New Town. These three outdoor clusters now have the ULTRA5G experience available throughout the entire townships. This means U Mobile customers will be able to enjoy a seamless experience on the telco’s next generation 5G network anywhere in these locations.
U Mobile’s Chief Technology Officer, Woon Ooi Yuen, said, “U Mobile is excited that our ULTRA5G experience, powered by both 5G Standalone and 5G Non-Standalone technologies, is now available to our customers in Bangi, Putrajaya and Petaling Jaya New Town. We are committed to bring the deepest and widest 5G coverage to all Malaysians. Since the start of our deployment, we have already brought our 5G-Advanced technology network to not only these three outdoor clusters, but also indoors in 30 buildings, with many more to come.”
He adds that with ULTRA5G being made available in the various locations, the residents or professionals working in the private or public sector in these areas will now be able to enjoy enhanced experiences such as crystal-clear video calls, seamless streaming and gaming, even in crowded environments. The company is also looking to drive businesses in these areas to fully leverage the benefits of 5G technology with relevant solutions to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
