We’re excited to present the last lecture of the year in the Vignelli Center for Design Studies’ 2024/2025 Design Conversation Series at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Chris Bailey is the founder and president of Bailey Brand Consulting, a firm he launched in 1985 to help businesses craft meaningful, impactful brands. With over three decades of experience, he has collaborated with industry giants like Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and Marriott International, as well as innovative startups, guiding them through transformative branding strategies. A recognized authority in the field, Bailey has shared his expertise through articles, books, and speaking engagements, covering topics from environmental branding to package design. His commitment to design excellence and business growth has earned him accolades, including a Distinguished Alumni Award from RIT.

In this lecture, Chris Bailey talks about his journey as a branding expert and entrepreneur, sharing insights into his early days at RIT, the evolution of his branding firm Bailey Brand Consulting, and the pivotal role relationships and problem-solving have played in his career. To learn more about The Vignelli Center for Design Studies at RIT, they have launched digital access to the archives through Google Arts & Culture, joining over 2000 cultural institutions from around the world. The initial launch includes nearly 900 high resolution images of artifacts from the archives so that now anyone with access to the Internet and Google Arts & Culture can search the Vignelli archives or browse it by color or chronological order.
