“Doc Raven Backs Combat Veteran Rally: Outlaw Country Star Endorses Ink & Iron Rally and Calls on Nation to Donate”

  • by

— Combat veteran Doc Raven endorses Fort Worth motorcycle giveaway rally Dr. Troy Foskey Jr., the combat-wounded veteran and independent artist known as Doc Raven, has issued a formal endorsement of the Ink & Iron Rally’s June 20, 2026 combat veteran fundraiser near Fort Worth, Texas. The event will award a custom-built motorcycle featuring hand-painted military artwork to a deserving combat veteran, with all proceeds supporting veteran advocacy efforts. Doc Raven, founder of Doc Raven Media Inc., has granted organizer John “Joker” McManus unlimited use of his name, music, and likeness to promote the cause, and is urging supporters to contribute.

Building more than motorcycles

The June 20 rally, hosted approximately 15 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway, centers on a hand-crafted motorcycle adorned with black-and-grey airbrush depictions of combat soldiers, military helicopters, and a kneeling warrior beneath an American flag. Every dollar raised goes directly to the veteran giveaway and year-round initiatives including Bikers Against Bullying and veteran support programs. The Ink & Iron Rally operates on a direct-action philosophy: honor those who served through tangible support, not ceremony alone.

Organizer John McManus—a two-time Guinness World Record holder in tattooing with three decades of experience—has devoted his platform to veteran causes and community service. Doc Raven reviewed the motorcycle artwork personally and described it as work that will resonate deeply with anyone who has worn the uniform.

From combat medic to country artist

Doc Raven served 18 years in the U.S. military as an Air Force Security Specialist and Army Combat Medic, and was wounded in Iraq in 2004. His music—raw narratives steeped in themes of faith, freedom, and resilience—has found audiences across digital platforms and among veterans, working Americans, and those who value unfiltered storytelling.

“I don’t put my name on something unless it means something to me down in my bones,” Doc Raven said. “John McManus and the Ink & Iron Rally are the real deal—real Americans doing real things for real veterans. That is the America I fought for, and that is the America Doc Raven sings about. I stand behind this cause completely and I am asking everyone in the Raven Nation and beyond to open their hearts and their wallets for this one.”

A call to contribute

Doc Raven has donated personally to the fundraiser and granted McManus and the Ink & Iron Rally unconditional, royalty-free use of his intellectual property in perpetuity to advance their mission. Donations of any size are accepted through the rally’s official Square fundraising page, and supporters are encouraged to share the campaign widely across social and community networks.
