Jared Pike’s Vaporwave-Inspired Interiors Feel Like Half-Remembered Dreams

  • by

Jared Pike is a New York-based 3D artist who turned an internet obsession with liminal spaces into a fully realized visual language. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he now works out of NYC and has built a following of nearly 90,000 people who tune in for his hypnotic pool rooms and dreamlike interiors.

His signature series, Dream Pools, is exactly what it sounds like: endless, eerily perfect indoor swimming pools rendered in soft blue-green light, surrounded by pristine white tiles and impossible architecture. The work sits somewhere between nostalgia and unease—beautiful enough to want to dive in, but strange enough to make you hesitate. Pike has been building these environments since 2020, drawing on vaporwave aesthetics and the uncanny comfort of liminal spaces to create scenes that feel like half-remembered dreams.

Technically, the work is pure craft. He builds everything in Blender 3D using LuxCore, and he has been vocal about keeping the process human: no AI, just meticulous modeling and rendering. That commitment matters, because the emotional pull of his pools comes from their specificity—the way light hits the water, the geometry of the tiles, the silence you can almost hear through the screen.
